The system is designed as a structured, competency-based framework to support students in Applied Technology Schools in making informed, realistic, and confident career decisions. Moving beyond traditional advisory models, it integrates self-awareness development, labour market exploration, and structured transition planning into a coherent school-based guidance process aligned with national modernization priorities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At its core, the system empowers students to understand their strengths, motivations, and career aspirations while developing practical skills for navigating the transition from education to employment. Delivered through trained facilitators using experiential and student-centred methodologies, the programme strengthens decision-making capacity, employability skills, and alignment between vocational pathways and labour market needs. Building on the benchmarking analysis of advanced EU systems\u2014particularly Finland and France\u2014the model aims to support Egypt in moving from fragmented labour-market studies toward a more structured, permanent, and multi-level skills anticipation architecture. The benchmarking findings highlight that effective systems combine institutionalised governance, a strong labour-market information backbone, sectoral engagement, and clear links between intelligence and decision-making.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The proposed model for Egypt is designed to draw on these principles while remaining adapted to the national context and the ongoing Technical Education 2.0 reform. It seeks to strengthen coordination between national data systems, authorities, industry partners, and education providers, ensuring that skills intelligence is not only produced but translated into concrete decisions related to programme planning, enrolment, curriculum updates, and career guidance.
